Microchip in dogs

dog microchipMicrochip in dogs allows rescue centers to notify you if your dog ever strays away.  Thousands of dogs wonder off and get lost each year and there is no way for rescue centers to contact or identify their owners unless the dog has been microchipped.   Microchip in dogs is a permanent and inexpensive way of identifying dogs and is legally required in some places.  Each microchip, about the size of a grain of rice, has a unique number held in a central database and is inserted under a dog’s skin around his neck.  Rescue centers just need to scan the dog’s neck to find your details.
